We need to address the "Accident of Birthplace" Issue

We believe that the US Constitution should be amended to allow American citizens not born on these shores to run for the highest elected office in the country. However we also believe that both Senator Orrin Hatch and the folks behind the Amend for Arnold Schwarzenegger campaign are naive in expecting that two thirds of both the Senate and the House, as well as the legislatures of 38 states will do the right thing before 2008.

A far simpler and far more realistic course of action is to persuade Congress that ........
